Risk Operations
Supporting structured origination, assessment, pricing, monitoring and collections - ensuring that credit decisions are measurable and defensible at the point of execution.
Cyte was established in response to a structural shift in financial services. Institutions are no longer asked simply to extend credit - they are expected to explain it, quantify it, defend it and report on it with precision.
Stakeholders, regulators and accounting bodies increasingly require transparent insight into portfolio risk, model assumptions and capital resilience. These expectations often exceed the capabilities of legacy systems and fragmented internal processes.
Cyte exists to close that gap.
Built in South Africa, Cyte supports credit providers from SMEs through to large corporates and banks - enabling clearer, more defensible credit decisions in growth markets.
Decisions that are growth-enabling
and regulator-ready.
The objective is not functional separation, but structural alignment - where operations, oversight and compliance operate as a single integrated system.
Risk Operations
Supporting structured origination, assessment, pricing, monitoring and collections - ensuring that credit decisions are measurable and defensible at the point of execution.
Management
Providing portfolio-level oversight, analytics, stress testing and structured reporting - enabling institutions to understand performance, exposure and capital implications in real time.
Compliance
Ensuring outputs remain aligned with evolving IFRS standards, Basel frameworks and regulatory disclosure requirements - with audit-ready transparency embedded by design.
Large financial institutions often maintain internal modelling and analytical capacity at significant cost. Cyte provides equivalent structural depth without the burden of internal development cycles, prolonged implementation programmes or fragmented technology environments.
Our methodologies are continuously maintained in line with evolving regulatory, accounting and supervisory standards. Institutional requirements are not retrofitted - they are foundational.
